West Coast had its heyday in the 90s, so our aim was to create a cross-generational strategy between West Coast fans and young Diddi Trix fans. We decided to show respect for the history of West Coast rap while adapting it to the habits and customs of the new generation of fans. We decided to create the first free mixtape to be distributed on Datpiff (the iconic American underground mixtape site) and in youtube video format. Mixed by legendary French dj Lord Issa, Diddi Trix recorded 5 tracks on American B-side prods. I designed an original cover and produced 5 youtube videos, each featuring a guest influencer/journalist in a humorous sketch. Guest list: Seb la frite, Mehdi Maïzi, Driver, Fif de Booska-P, Maskey, Joss, Anis Rhali, Brisco Basket (freestyle basketball champion) and Zak Barber.
